Why you want ID3 tags for your podcast, and specifically for iPhone users.

In the short screencast below (created using the LifeCasting app on the iPhone), I demonstrate how podcasts appear on the iPhone 1) with and without album art 2) with and without show notes.

As I note in today’s Daily Boo, your show notes will only display on an iPhone if you manually add them to the iTunes Lyrics tab before uploading and publishing your podcast file. In the screenshots below, you can see how the show notes I created in iTunes for a recent episodes of IDRA Classnotes display on the iPhone.
