More thoughts on conferences. Today I discuss the factors and questions to consider when evaluating the relative worth of a conference:

1) What did you learn?
2) Were you inspired to move, act, create?
3) What was the quality of interactions you had with speakers/organizers/other attendees?
4) Did you leave the event with actual business takeaways?

Weigh these benefits against the cost of attending—both in dollars paid and time spent.
